No! Yahoo is just a web site with lots of links - and a little more. You can get a free antivirus by going to www.avg.com. There's a free version there that's awesome. Remember, sometimes viruses reside on webpages - or when you download programs - sometimes they come to you in e-mails. You absolutely need a virus protector.

AVG is great use it myself

but you need a spyware program also so try AVG-anti virus or spybot search %26 destroy or superantispyware.com

also Ad-ware2007 for malware and a good fire wall like zonealarm

all but the superantispyware program can be downloaded from p.cworld.com for free.

and like they said virus are ever where so keep the programs update and run them often.
