I have dial up internet and i want to use a Belkin USB Network adapter so i can wirelessly go on my labtop. will I get viruses on the computer i use to put the USB network adapter on?

Well unless you install something from a disk with a virus you can not get a virus if you don't connect to the internet ever.

Whenever you download something or install new software, it's important to immediately scan for viruses. I'd recommend to anyone to never have a computer unless you plan to have a virus cleaner. Unless, of course, you are never going to install anything on it and you are never connecting it to the internet--like a word processing computer.
