I recently updated my Zone Alarm security and since then I am getting all these viruses. It says it

not-a-virus. How do I keep getting all these viruses and how can I chase them down and stop the cause. After a scan, which are several a day, they list the viruses and part of the file (or where ever) code. How can I find out where they are coming from. I am not a computer whiz but I am not iliterate either. So I do need step by step instruction.

Turn off system restore. This will remove all restore points since some are infected and will make scanning quicker. Turn system restore back on after you are malware free.

Remove temporary files, logs, cookies, etc. by using Ccleaner. Do not use "Advanced Settings" or the "Issues" button. Use only the default settings. This will make your scans faster. Run the cleaner again after you are malware free.

Install Super Antispyware. Run it in safe mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

Run the online scan for Bit Defender in normal mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.
