Which can penetrate a thin latex membrane, viruses or bacteria?

Name some viruses and bacteria, please

Which can penetrate a thin latex membrane, viruses or bacteria?norton antivirus

The space between two molecules of latex is only a matter of a few 脜ngstroms wide. Both bacteria and viruses are considerably larger than this. Therefore, latex is impermeable to both bacteria and viruses.

The reason a lot of people ask this question is that there is a pseudoscientific rumor about that HIV can pass through a latex membrane. I assure you, HIV cannot pass the the spaces between a bunch of latex molecules.

So again, latex is impermeable to viruses and bacteria. Condoms are effective in containing HIV.
