A quarantine is a safe place your virus checker can move files to. It might do this if it thinks something is a virus. The quarantine means that you can put the file back later if you find out it wasn't really a virus and the checker made a mistake (something called a false positive).

The privacy objects sound like cookies. These are very small files that many websites put on your computer. They hold things like preferences or track what you been looking at. Most are harmless but some can be harmful. If they are not from sites you trust (like your email site, or amazon or the like) then it is worth letting your virus checker delete them.

Quarantine means it isolates viruses from the rest of your computer so it cant do anything. You should quarantine, wait to see how it impacts the computer (to determine whether it is actually a virus you quarantined) and delete it afterwards. (Normally it will automatically delete quarantined items after a certain amount of time) The privacy objects is like history that has probably been collected by the anti-virus for removal.
Quarantine means the file infected is placed into a "safe area" of the computer, some files are identified in error as a virus so if you Quarantine a file and realise a program does not work anymore you can restore the file (Where as if you deleted the file you could not)
