i use avg antivirus and i think its great but i have been using limewire for a long time and ive never gotten a virus i guess you'll have to learn to tell which files can have viruses before u download, a way i do this is by narrowing my search and also look at the bitrate, if it says 128kbps or more, it sholud be fine, do not download the ones that dont have a bitrate. you mays also wanna look at what format the file is
