Try downloading the trial of spysweeper. it is the best for spyware, adware, trojans, but will only sweep for viruses if you pay for it. Try AVG free for the virus. IE always gets viruses. i would use either Mozilla Firefox, or Safari for windows. these explorers have better ad blockers.

For all computer related problems please check out

http://computer-probs.blogspot.com/

It not only gives complete solutions but also offers

free downloads of effective softwares which can detect

and eliminate all spy ware /virus /ad ware /Trojans completely.
If you have McAfee, you need to run a full system scan and remove any viruses it finds. If you just had the free trial version of McAfee and not a paid subscription, uninstall it and install Avast anti-virus. Go to http://www.avast.com and download the free home version. It is free, regularly updated, and works very well. Install that and run a full scan of your system.

Then, install Spybot-S%26D ( http://www.safer-networking.org/en/mirro... ), or Ad-Aware ( http://www.lavasoftusa.com ), and run full scans of your system. If anything is there, they should find it.

These programs are all free, and do the job very well.
